Shepherd's Cottage - Kilchoman House Cottages
Shepherd’s Cottage is a 3 bedroom cottage, at the top of the drive. It is all on ground level and has a spacious lounge with an open/electric fire, electric storage heater, satellite TV and DVD for your comfort.
The large kitchen has a gas hob with a separate electric oven, a microwave and a fridge freezer and ample cupboard space.
There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The third bedroom has bunk beds which we allow solely for children. The bathroom has a shower above the bath with an electric fan heater and also an electric towel rail. There is electric storage heating in the bedrooms. We can provide you with a cot and a high chair if you require them in this cottage.
There is a washer/drier out in the garage at Shepherd’s cottage should you wish to use it (There is a small charge for the use of the drier only). Outside in the large enclosed garden is a picnic table where you can have a BBQ and also a garden seat to while your day away.
On a clear day from Shepherd’s cottage one has the bonus of spectacular views all around, over to Donegal, up North to Mull and to Jura on the East. Shepherd’s cottage was graded 3 stars by VisitScotland, in March 2008, under the new grading scheme.
Included in the tariff, is your electricity, your fuel for the fire and we supply your bed linen and kitchen towels, but not your personal towels unless you are flying in.
There is ample parking for your cars in the driveway adjacent to the cottage. Dogs or any pets are no longer accepted and we request there is no smoking within the cottages.
